As an English department
student, very important for student to hold the English science. As a candidate
of english teacher, they must smart in
writing, reading, grammar, and speaking. But many student does not hold all of
them. Especially speaking skill. As we know if you teach in classroom, speaking
is one of factor which will see by student. Speaking skill can determine the english quality of teacher.
Unfortunetly,
many student don’t care about this. They are worry because if other student assume they are just
show off or shame with they speaking
skill which haven’t good. The survey has prove that many lecturer has got
complain from many school where the student teach practice. The teacher of
school said that student of university who teach practice hasn’t held speaking
skill. Many of them speak english not good and teach using Indonesian language.
